Orthros at 8:30 AM, Divine Liturgy starts at 9:30 AM at St. George Church and at St. Lazarus Chapel at Ridgewood Cemetery.

The children of our Sunday School, Greek School, and our community are invited to attend this service as a group and receive Holy Communion.  Our Ladies Educational Society lovingly sponsors a Lenten breakfast following the service. 

Following breakfast, everyone stays and helps with making Palm Crosses which are then distributed to the faithful on Palm Sunday.  The first step of the process is always a review of the “σχέδιο” and a refresher course on how to make the crosses.   

The children taking communion as a group, the breakfast, and the making of the crosses have been long-standing traditions at Saint George, and the first step of a very busy Holy Week.

Members of the Parish Council and parishioners will be setting tables and preparing for their annual Bakalao luncheon in the Community Center,
