Ladies Educational Society Scholarship

Scholarship Requirements:

• Past winners are not eligible to re-apply for the scholarship unless you are pursuing a higher-level degree.

• Applicant must be a high school senior or a full-time college student. The only exception is if the applicant is pursuing a graduate degree, then he/she may be a part-time student.

• Applicant is pursuing a Bachelor’s, trades apprenticeship or graduate degree.

• Applicant is enrolling or is enrolled at an accredited university, junior college or trade program. 

• Applicant's parents are stewards of Saint George for at least one year – applies to applicant pursuing a higher-education.  Stewardship is the fulfillment of the 2024 Stewardship financial promise as indicated on the 2024 Stewardship form.

• Applicant is a steward of Saint George – applies to applicant pursuing a graduate degree.

• Applicant must be Orthodox but not necessarily of Greek descent.

Steps to Apply:

• Complete application using this link

• Gather two (2) recommendation letters completed by educators at the applicant’s current school of attendance

• Secure copies of current transcripts of high school or college grades (directly from registrar's office)

• All applications, forms, transcripts, letters and correspondence, and other inquiries should be sent directly to the Ladies Education Scholarship Committee:  lesscholarshipcommittee@gmail.com. 

• Please indicate on the Subject Line:  LES Scholarship for APPLICANTS NAME.
