New Ministry at St. George - The Chicago Bike Project

Thank you to Fred Fredricksen for starting this ministry and securing a grant from the Metropolis of Chicago Mustard Seed Fund.

Mission: To provide free bicycles and maintenance to Chicago communities in need. 

About: Chicago Bike Project is an outreach ministry supported by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago’s Mustard Seed Fund, headquartered at St. George in Lincoln Park. Our program provides free bicycles, locks, lights, and helmets as well as free ongoing maintenance to Chicagoans in need. Our hope is to enable individuals greater access to food pantries, shelters, church services, legal obligations, and most importantly the opportunity to travel at no cost.
